The Group's journey, under the leadership of Shri Harshavardhan Neotia, began nearly two decades ago with a clear mission – to positively impact people's lives. Initially known as Bengal Ambuja, Ambuja Neotia gained significant support from the Government of West Bengal, establishing itself as a pioneering joint sector entity in the state. This collaboration led to a groundbreaking Public-Private Partnership, transforming housing accessibility across various societal segments through a cross-subsidized model. Half of all residences were allocated for LIG and MIG categories, while the remaining accommodated HIG residents.

The success of Udayan on the E M Bypass inspired the Group to replicate its achievements with projects such as Ulhas in Bardhaman, Urvashi in Durgapur, Utsa in New Town, Kolkata, Uttorayon in Siliguri, Ujjwala in New Town, Kolkata, and Upohar off the EM Bypass, Kolkata. The Group's ongoing projects in Kolkata include Utalika, Urvisha, the 81-acre Utsodhaara Teesta Township in Siliguri, Vanya Awas in Lataguri, and Gardenia Villas in Raichak On Ganges.

The inauguration of City Centre Salt Lake marked the Group's entry into the retail sector, redefining the mall concept under the brand City Centre. This expansion included City Centres in New Town, Haldia, Siliguri, and Raipur, with Patna being the latest addition.

Ecospace Business Park was conceived to provide smarter, greener workspaces, promoting a balanced work-life environment. This initiative evolved into Ecocentre and Ecostation at Salt Lake and Ecosuite at New Town, with the latest addition being Ecospace Business Towers in New Town, aimed at enhancing well-being in smart workspaces. The Group continues to innovate and launch new projects across various real estate domains and continues to make a difference to the way people live.
